Notes on Powers & Boons
Powers & Boons is a new category of effects recently
discovered on the turn due 27 May 2006. Though, it is possible it appeared
prior to that. The sources of powers and boons are unknown. The first reported
one came from a boon gained by an action undertaken in a room.
Eagle's Dignity
I have been infused with an iron aura by
magical means. I feel strong and tough, resistant to damage and strong of will.
I feel a little slow though and I also suffer badly from the cold. This aura
will eventually fade. Player's Note: Appears to grant +2 Willpower, +2
Strength, +8 normal defense, +4 Fire defense, and -3 cold defense. Despite the
boons description, it doesn't appear to affect movement. This boon is gained
from touching a stone eagle’s head in a room known as the Eagle’s Head located
in the Black Eagle Castle. This castle is located on a cloud island South of
the cloud island reached by the Cloud Staircase East of Red Mountain Keep.
